Special report: Let¡¯s discuss the upper 2 vertebrae in the cervical spine.  When your neck is subluxated (misaligned vertebrae that put increasing pressure on your nerves), various symptoms can develop over time.  The top two bones in the neck are(C1) and your axis (C2). You have seven neck (cervical) vertebrae in all. What are the names of the others? Simple: C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7.

When you have a subluxation of your neck vertebrae, certain nerves and areas are affected. Below are some of the more common findings.

C1: Nerves from C1 go to your head, pituitary gland, bones of the face, the brain, and the inner and middle ear.  Common symptoms that are caused by subluxations of C1 are:

¡¤        Headaches               ¡ñ  Head colds                        ¡ñ  High blood pressure

¡¤        Nervousness¡ñ Migraine headaches         ¡ñ Anxiety & Depression

¡¤        Epilepsy, Fatigue, and dizziness.

C2: Nerves from C2 go to the eyes, ears, sinuses, and forehead.  Common symptoms due to subluxations of the axis bone (C2) include:

¡ñ sinus infections  ¡ñ deafness, tinnitus, and fainting spells  ¡ñallergies

Make sure you see your chiropractor to ensure that your cervical spine (neck) is in proper alignment.

July Patient Testimonial:

A 40 year old (shhhh, she prefers I say 39) of ours has had headaches and severe allergies when she came to Corrective Chiropractic.  After 4 months of care, her headaches have nearly ceased, and her allergy medication has been cut by half!  She then recently had her 2 young children spines checked, ages 5 and 7.  Her 7-year old has since decreased her allergy medication as well.

Thank you so much for your referrals.  It is an honor for me to help you and truly humbling that you trust me with your care.
